An atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and joy greeted all members of the school community and the big family of Diniyyah Al-Azhar Jambi, ranging from early childhood education (PAUD) to the Integrated Islamic Senior High School. Thousands of students from the SDIT, SMPIT, and SMAIT levels gathered to hold the Opening Ceremony for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
Held in the main field of Campus 2 at Diniyyah Al-Azhar Jambi, the solemn ceremony took place on Monday, July 20, 2026, marking the beginning of a new academic journey and Islamic character development for all students. This inaugural flag ceremony brought all educational levels together in one large field to strengthen brotherhood (ukhuwah) among students, teachers, and staff members of Diniyyah Al-Azhar Jambi.
Serving as the Ceremony Inspector was the Educational Director of Diniyyah Al-Azhar Indonesia, Mr. H. M. Hafizh El-Yusufi, S.Pd.I., M.M. In his address, he extended a warm welcome (Ahlan wa Sahlan) to all new students from elementary to high school who officially joined the big family of Diniyyah Al-Azhar Jambi.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining pure intentions in learning as an act of worship and cultivating discipline from an early age. He also urged students to look beyond academic achievements by consistently maintaining their daily prayers, Qur’an memorization, and noble character (akhlakul karimah). Loud applause and echoes of Takbir (“Allahu Akbar”) symbolized the official opening of the 2026/2027 academic year at Diniyyah Al-Azhar Jambi – Indonesia.
The ceremony concluded with a prayer. Following the event, several announcements were made, including student achievements in competitions held during the school break from June to mid-July 2026. This recognition aimed to motivate both students and teachers to continuously learn, create, excel, innovate, and compete on the global stage.
The new academic year has officially begun. May all students of Diniyyah Al-Azhar Jambi experience a productive and meaningful educational journey filled with achievements, blessings, and the protection of Allah SWT.
