On October 10–11th, 2025, Diniyyah Al Azhar integrated Elementary school Jambi successfully held a two-day English Camp with the theme “A Whole New World.” The program took place on Friday and Saturday and was designed to open students’ minds to a new atmosphere of learning, where English become a natural part of communication.

Throughout the event, students were given many opportunities to explore, experience, and enjoy English through various games, challenges, and interactive activities.

One of the unique rules of this camp was that students were not allowed to speak any language other than English. To support this, each participant wore a point necklace. Anyone who spoke in another language would have their points reduced, while those who bravely and consistently used English would earn bonus points. This system created a positive challenge, motivated students to keep practicing, and built an environment where English was truly alive throughout the camp.

The two-day program was filled with exciting individual and group activities such as Think Fast, Snake Word, Guess the Word, Say the Letters, and other team-based competitions. Theseactivities encouraged students to think critically, communicate clearly, and work together with confidence and sportsmanship. Laughter, energy, and enthusiasm filled every moment as students challenged themselves to speak English in every situation.

The most anticipated moment of the entire camp was the Night Performance, held on Saturday evening. Students from each group prepared creative shows such as storytelling, short dramas, singing, and musical performances — all in English. The Night Performance was greeted with great excitement, and the atmosphere was filled with cheers, applause, and bright smiles. This wonderful moment allowed students to shine on stage, express their creativity, and showcase their talents in front of their friends and teachers.

At the end of the event, students not only improved their English skills, but also learned important values such as honesty, courage, respect, teamwork, and confidence. The theme “A Whole New World” truly reflected the experience — students stepped into a new world where English opened doors to creativity, expression, and connection. The English Camp 2025 concluded with happiness, pride, and unforgettable memories. We hope this spirit will continue, and that students will keep using English anytime and anywhere — because learning a language is not just about studying, but about discovering a whole new world.
